Step-by-step guide

1

Open Flowre → Channels

In your Flowre dashboard, click “Channels” in the left sidebar. Click “Add Channel” and select Twitter / X.

2

Click “Connect with Twitter / X”

You will be redirected to Twitter’s authorization page. If you are not logged in, enter your Twitter / X credentials.

3

Authorize Flowre

Review the permissions Flowre is requesting — these include reading your account info and posting tweets on your behalf. Click “Authorize app” to continue.

4

You’re connected!

Your Twitter / X account will appear in the Channels list. You can now schedule posts, publish from Social Studio, and include it in multi-channel posts.

Tips for Twitter / X:
  • Keep posts under 280 characters. Flowre shows a live counter in the editor.
  • Use channel overrides to write a shorter Twitter version when posting to multiple platforms.
  • Images and videos are supported — attach media in the Create Post modal.

Troubleshooting

Authorization fails or I see an error from Twitter

Try clearing your browser cookies and reconnecting. Make sure you are authorizing with the correct Twitter account.

Post failed to publish on Twitter / X

Check the post in your Content Planner — failed posts show an error badge. Common causes: post exceeds 280 characters, media format not supported, or token expired (reconnect the channel).

I want to connect a different Twitter account

Go to Channels → your Twitter channel → Disconnect. Then add a new channel and log in with the correct account.

Twitter / X automation is limited to post scheduling and publishing. DM automation on Twitter / X is not currently supported by Flowre due to API restrictions from the platform.
